History of FKM UMP Conference

ICMER2017 is the 4th Conference on Mechanical Engineering Research organised by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. The first and second conferences were organised in 2010, at national level. It was the third conference in 2011 that the faculty decided to extend the conference to international level, representing a significant milestone in the history of the faculty internationalising our conferences by inviting researchers and participants from other universities and research institutions worldwide.

1st NCMER2010 (26-27th May 2010) 69 Accepted papers from 113 submitted. All 69 papers published in conference proceedings
2nd NCMER2010 (3-4th Dec 2010) 98 Accepted papers from 139 submitted. All 98 papers published in conference proceedings
1st ICMER2011 (5-7th Dec 2011) 168 Accepted papers from 246 submitted. Selected papers published in IJAME, JMES, and IOP.
 2nd ICMER2013 (1-3rd July 2013) 209 Accepted papers from 374 submitted. Selected papers published in IJAME, JMES, IOP and IREME.
3rd ICMER2015 (18-19th August 2015) 198 Accepted papers from 214 submitted. Selected papers published in IJAME, JMES, IOP and MATEC

Full Paper Submission Information


Full Paper must be submitted via e-mail to icmer2017@gmail.com. Full-length papers (Full Paper/s) (contributed papers: 10 pages) have to be prepared as per the prescribed format, downloadable from www.icmer-ump.com or in this site guidelines or download section.

To ensure high standards, all contributed papers will be reviewed by two independent reviewers. Based on the reviewers' comments, the Sub-Committee on Papers will take decision on the acceptance of the papers submitted. Upon acceptance of the Full Paper, the author will be notified via email and the author shall incorporate the reviewers' suggested corrections to the manuscript and submit the revised manuscript as Camera Ready Submission to icmer2017@gmail.com

Registration fee covers the publication fee (10 pages), conference fee, conference material, lunch, coffee/tea break, welcome reception and banquet.
* Note: Submission for more than one paper (first author ONLY/Full Delegate ONLY) the fee is reduced to RM1150 (USD300) for the second paper onwards.
